glad you like this photo, so do i, reminds me of on the street as a kid, there was 1950's and 60's housing estates full of columns the same as this with the same lanterns on round here, they were still in nightly use till about 1987, they all got beta 5'd then, yuk ! then in the late 90's they nearly all got sleeved or replaced, today there are a handfull of sleeved ones left in our town. These columns in this picture, were long derelict, all dead for god knows how long, since the late 80's i think. only recently pulled out as they were worried about the brackets dropping concrete chunks
