36w T8 vs 18w LED
36w 840 T8 fluorescent vs 18w 840 T8 LED.

About the same brightness with the LED having fractionally better CRI to my eyes. (More red)

Same exposure as the other photo.

Interesting, you certainly can`t argue with the results there, life test is needed though?

They do claim 25k hours which sounds reasonable tbh. I'll have to get one apart and see what the power supply is like and how well the LED chips are ran. The most common failure mode I've seen recently when out & about is degraded diodes probably from being over driven and/or insufficient heat management. These barely get warm when running.

Decent match to it, suppose it depends on the application if full 360 degree output is required to reflect onto a ceiling or more directional if installed high up.

Same brightness but for how long? We have all seen LED with lumen drop off
