What brand are those MB rich? The outter envolope looks too big for the arc tube?

At first they used the long MA-size outers even for MB/U lamps. It was because some fixtures supported the outer bulb with springs around the end, and the length had to be kept the same. The E40 cap is in fact robust enough on its own though, so by the later 60s the outer size was reduced.
