Video of LED cats eyes linked to traffic lights at Switch Island junction

LED cats eyes that are linked to the traffic lights and are activated when the lights change to green. This is a complicated junction known as 'Switch Island' which can be very confusing to those who are not familiar with the junction. There have been a lot of accidents here and this is part of some work to improve the safety of the junction. I must say that in this case, this is a good and appropriate application for LEDs!

That is quite cool tbh. A bit like airport taxiway lights to help guide aircraft lol.
