Can you Afford South central Texas, American electric bill?
Well from late aug to into september. Id use 495 KWH of Electricty
Totaling close to $60 USD (About £47) it ran Air conditioner every day
Due to 30 to 38 C blistering heat. Ran my 8 foot pop pack, 12 volt 1156 automotive B15 single contact bulb. 24/7. Racking up hours on the 110 watt HO tube on the 8 foot pop pack. This also testing and running up other lights. Charging up my cell phone, Table fan, all under 500 KWH. I dont get tier rates
Just fee for having the meter and how much i used.

So is this good or bad?, I pay whats called `duel fuel`, gas and electric which cost me £111.00 a month, ($141.37).

Well average american with household of 4 generally runs around $200 to 250 a month around here for all electric home, this include, heating, cooling, cooking , lighting and laundry. So this leccy bill above is below normal american use.

That is good for all that air con!, we don`t have air con in the average home here, it never stays hot enough!, I`m happy its now October, I much prefer winter to summer! Very Happy

That would cost me about £55. We actually use more than that, in that last 28 days we've used about 600kw because there are 5 of us in the house and we all use the 10Kw electric shower, 3 kw electric kettle, washing machines, driers compueters and TV's ect. I have a split-system heatpump but it's packed up at the moment, I have aircon because all of my hi-fi and computer gear chucks out the heat and I don't want the window open and let all the flies in Smile
