From the days when you could pick up decent tubes in the DIY sheds Smile

Ive got a 36w which i got from Dickens (now b&q washington) in 2000. I remember loads of brands and hundreds of different tubes on the shelf. GE F36W/35, GE F36W/29, RING 36W, Osram L36W/23, Philips TLD 36W/35 plus every other size and thickness all mixed on the shelf in those clear square packets with blue ends. Good old days. I was only 10 at the time but i remember the day i purchased that Ring tube clearly. I think i will actually dig it out and give it a long run
