It still looks to have plenty of life left in it and being lit 24/7 and being a Philips should last a good while! Nice colour too!

Where is the fitting located? On a ceiling in a room or somewhere else?

Uh, ceiling, kind of. In the middle of a stairwell where it's usually 25°C+

I agree with Danny, it may outlive British Steel lol!

For those thinking it's a shame not to add this to my stash, this tube came to me with a cap missing (no idea how, these are not known for being poorly attached!). I was going to skip it but thought I'd bodge on any old cap and put it to use instead, the replacement cap isn't even glued on lol
