Chinese 38w 2D Work Light
Bought from a car boot sale for £3! Sold as not working which indeed it was not, as expected the unbranded electronic ballast was dead. I replaced it with a Tridonic magnetic ballast and a manual preheat starter button (on the back).

I've been on the lookout for a 2D worklight for a while, IMHO these are far superior to the glare riddled, shadow producing LED COB floodlights that are commonly used as work light for some reason now-a-days.

Only thing wrong with this now is the cable which is far too short (about 1.2m), I have a 3m length ready to replace it.

At my last workplace we skipped absolutely loads of 110v 28w work lights. Wished I'd saved a few now, they were good quality, heavy duty units with reinforced plastic etc Sad

I could even use these. Smile
