Thorlux Twin 5ft Fixture Collected this Thorlux something-or-other 5ft twin heavy duty fixture today, it has an alloy base & polycarbonate cover. Not sure if this is actually IP rated or not. It came with a pair of Osram Liteguard 65/80w warm white tubes as well as a pair of French made Philips 65/80w 35s, all well used. Capacitors are dated 04/86 I used to have one of these in 2ft twin albeit newer, it had twist lock lamp holders and a HF ballast. Sadly the polycarbonate cover was smashed, not sure whatever happened to it but I probably binned it due to said damage.

Absolutely! At least a fellow collector has got it, rather than someone wanting to shove it ion a loft / garage / shed!

Lovely! These old Thorlux fittings are solid and so well made.
