thats really cool! what sort of equipment do you use to seal the electrodes into the tubing and such? and what did you do to dose it with mercury this time? its really cool to see someone do this sort of stuff from home! what sort of voltage and current are we looking at with this Tube?

The electrodes come ready made in a glass 'cup', you just weld them on the end with a blowtorch. I put elemental mercury in, made a bubble in the stem to trap it.

Thats what i figured with the electrodes was just wondering if you had any special torches as used in neon shops. where did ya salvage the mercury from?. If i had a proper NST id ask how much one costs to be made by you

Its no where near good enough to sell yet, not untill I get better with the glass, I made 3 of these today, 2 of them cracked. And this one had a hole in it that had to be very carefully repaired, and i didnt put enough mercury in. I only used a bunsen burner.
