Very Cool! interesting choice of gas any reason why you went for neon over argon? as i understand it argon is a better gas generally for this application Smile where is the filament from and what sort of voltage/current/wattage are we looking at here? would be fun to try and rehouse a 240V filament in your own glass bulb

The fillament is from a roll of tungsten, i used neon because i am using this as also a capacitive glow lamp.
