Metal canopy proper gasket alpha 8 would last longer still!

It’s not just these, look at Philips’s Trafic Vision, if you have any around you, and their just as bad, once the gel coat of the SMC has weathered out, the canopies look old and dated and the bowls all look grimy and un-maintained!, I’m seeing Arcs now too, where the bowl has gone and the lamp is hanging out of the canopy!, these later HID lanterns were not built to last as long as the ones from the 50s 60s and 70s.

We have lanterns from the 80s that look like that on the outside surface, but otherwise still hold up well. Some without the bowls tho

Metal or fiber made, there is lighting which is proper and lighting which is not. The Alpha is proper one and would still be even another 17 years later
