I had an 8w one it lasted 10 years to the month!

Wow, I've heard that these are pretty good quality, I'm just not keen on CFLs
I’d keep them, their getting rare now!, even if you don’t use them, I’ve still got the first ‘soft tone’ ones, (a version of the 8watts with an outer bulb), from 2006!

I have a softtone lamp too. I bought it from Morrisons years and years ago
I think I may just box these up and store them

I've been wanting to test one of these 24/7 in my Coughtrie bulkhead light and compare it to other CFLs such as the Megaman ones.
I reckon they would outlive the Megamans, they were well built CFL but never seemed to last very long?
I had good experience with them. They have a long preheat too I think
I had an 8w and 11w lamp last 11 years before finally dying, incredible service.
They are excellent CFLs. I've had them last longer than Philip's new LED ones, it lasted about 1 year before going EOLED.
Yes I'd keep them as they are getting rare

I just boxed a load of these up earlier to go to my lock up in storage & found another stash!
