Got the adaptor from eBay along with a few other various ones, Ideal for testing but I also use one in the standard lamp in the lounge, it withstands the heat of 200 watt GLS

It would be miles better if we had transparent coloured GLS incandescent still made out of actual coloured glass than lacquer

That would be good but I guess it was the costs, cheaper to lacquer

Always the cost cutting method/idea that sadly ditch the best ideas (mostly not always)
