Odd how they used the mushroom lamp shape with these.. as I recall, these were a little more expensive than some lamps you could buy (own brand Sainsburys, Tesco etc) hence why they are quite uncommon..

These muchroom lamps are very nice, especially in pearl. I don't think these are Krypton filled as I would have expected the lumen output to be higher despite the reduced wattage.

As far as I can see there is nothing to indicate if these are krypton filled, if they are still accessible I will double check

These lamps were/came the first type of Energy Saving Lamps, as the 54 watt lamp uses 6 watts (10%) less power than the standard 60 watt GLS Lamp, and the 90 watt Lamp uses 10 watts (10%) less power than the 100 watt GLS Lamp, but is the same Brightness, also with being Krypton Filled the lamp life has increased to 2000 hours. the 54w lamp gives a saving 1200 watts and the 90w lamp gives a saving of 1800 watts through out the lamp's life. (2000 Hours).

I don't believe these are Krypton filled Colin, they'd surely be brighter.
