Sylvania Coloured G45
More lovely lamps from Lucas, I remember buying the same lamps from our local market in the 80's.

Coloured GLS and coloured gold ball lamos, remind me of my childhood and the Christmas lights that used to hang across the street in town. Now we just have ghastly cold white icicles which look very clinical and cold. The coloured GLS and blow-moulded santa faces, xmas trees, snowmen, etc actually looked festive. What we have now is cold and uninviting.

Living in Blackpool the world famous illuminations are nothing now compared to when I was a kid, I recall strings of festoon with coloured 15 watt GEC GLS lamps, now it's all low voltage LED

I still remember the incandescent Blackpool Illuminations from a trip there when I was little. We also used to go to Torquay regularly which was equally as impressive and had a mile or more of incandescent festoons and hundreds of coloured GEC metal halide lamps lighting trees and shrubbery.
