So you seem to get around 2 to 3 years out of them on average then.
Yeah, some of these lamps were not new though, mainly the last few that went in
Seems shit tho seen as bigger sizes last twice as long even 3x as in some cases. I remember on LG years ago kev mentioning how shit the life seemed.... now i Can confirm the life does seem bad
I too remember Kev mentioning year ago how I didn’t seem to get very good life’s out of my SOX!
Just must be average for 18s lol. If this is the case then my spares would last 15 more yr

I have a similar log of dates and lamps for all of my fittings.
This book is the second draft of the one I lost, funny when you look at my outside lighting logs and see how much I messed about with it!
Did you save the fitting when the house was sold?
Frustratingly no, it was still in use when they bought it, my mum told the woman where she could get spare lamps, (me), and that was that!, but for some reason the new owners have now had it disconnected! , as it only ran for another year then went out! I know it’s not a dead lamp, as I walk the dog past the house each morning, and through the bowl the lamp looks good, so I’m guessing she just didn’t like it?

Did the 35s last better for you rich? Mine have been seamless on the farm I’ve got to admit. I’ve had more trouble with my 18 than any of my others
Not really, but most of the 35s I had were already used anyway!
