If this goes black then it was Definitly a bad batch! Lamp no2 that i am testing is still clear.
If it doesn't go black id guess it would last a tad longer as its in the open rather than been in a closed bulkhead getting hot.
I’m suspecting it was having ignitors on the circuit that caused it at the minute, but I’ll be pretty pissed with myself if it doesn’t go black, and it was indeed my fault for frying all the other’s!

Be interesting to see what happens to the one Danny is running now on ignitorless gear like in my G6.
There’s still the support contact question too, this will verify it?
I dunno, the support in my G6 is earthed and doesn't seem to have any effect.

Ive decided lamp #2 of yours rich will be the last 18 i run. Not had a good experience with them myself! Next i am tossing up the idea of either the 35w Holophane Wallpackette or 50w SON next
Hmm, 35 will give the softer light, but 50s look cool at ground level, showing the colour of your grass and foliage up
Convert one to run 35w SDW-T or something
