This will be a very intetesting test. Where in the house have you installed this? Did it start perfectly on its own? My bets is this one will not go black!

It’s in my landing night light, (a standard GU10 modded with a porcelain BC in), and yes, it fired straight up just off the choke without any external assistance!

Liam yeah the usual Tridonic tait!, this choke is actually bolted onto my old Astra gear plate that once held its 250 watt SON ballast, should keep it relatively cool?

Should provide a bit of heatsinking at least.

Well it’s been on 18 hours now, and choke is warm enough for you to hold your hand on without being hot
|

As i say my bets is this one will run fine! Itll be interesting as your second one i am testing only went in around 3 weeks ago so it will be interesting to see how they both wear up and last
