I suppose the halide deposits have gone to the coldest part of the Arc tube? I guess?

This lamp seems to have sodium-scandium. So how the arc looks like that, as if it is wall stabilized?

Also: There are no heat reflective coatings at the ends of the arctube despite sodium and scandium are used. Why?
|

I’d say with an arc that probably runs as hot as this does, it doesn’t need any zinc oxide coating?
