It’s weird to see a mercury arc with red haze around it, without the telltale zinc oxide coating at each end! Cool

The white core is scandium and the outer red is sodium.

Yeah, EYE's halide burners are quite conventional looking. At least the lack of coating lets you see the electrodes!
