Iwasaki EYE ColorArc PAR36 6500k

1 x 150w Iwasaki EYE PAR36 quartz metal halide lamp in high CRI 6500K daylight flavour.

The lamp feels very solid in the hand and the lenticular front creates a very uniform beam.
Beam angle is stated as being 62 × 67.

The arc tube is mounted transversely across the inside of the lamp which is interesting. I would think having the arc tube mounted longitudinally would give the best performance in the reflector and reduce shadowing ect but I suppose having it this way reduces the depth of the lamp.

Colour is a nice 6500k daylight and as usually with these lamps, the CRI is excellent.
