Cool lamp! Shame these are China now! I have a couple of the 2000W versions we fired them up at the last meet lol

They are now China. We have them in the works lighting towers in 1K the only reason lamps fail is due to vibration we have lamps in the weee bin at the min that look like brand new but are snapped at the base ffs

It does seem odd how you have that massive arc tube and support frame held up entirely by the lead-in wires. That GE I posted before, in comparison has the whole thing bolted securely to the stem!
