GE Arcstream
It's little of a surprise that it still lights up and still has its original colour, given its hours, and where it was made! I wondered if it's arc voltage/current had altered with the electrode tips burning away slightly, but it's measuring at 135 arc volts @ 1.5 amps, these are still one of the fastest running up discharge lamps I've ever experienced though, literally coming to full output in about 20 seconds!

Did it strike up ok or did it carry for a bit before stabilising? Interesting figures, the book says 95v at 1.8a. I suppose the enlarged arc gap is altering that.

If I remember, the gap is quite small, so that is quite a voltage rise Shocked, however it's running like an absolute dream, Leicester absolutely nailed it with these, the colour is still amazing, there's not a bit of flickering in it at all Cool
