Osram 13W 930 Deluxe T5
Got this for that metal desk lamp I have.
Massive step up from a generic chinese "2700K" unknown phosphor thing.
If anyone would like a colour comparison shot let me know.
Don't like how dim it starts up though.
More worried about it pinking out than burning out.

Not many of my 8w Osrams went pink. Most of them just start off dim.

Nice rich warm colour, reminds me of Osrams ‘Interna’ tubes, I think they were something like 2500K, my dad had one in his kitchen Cool

I have never seen a miniature osram in 930 before

Nice, I've never seen a 9xx miniature T5 before, even regular 8xx lamps aren't that common (comparatively to halo variants anyway). Cameras can help identify the type of phosphor on a lit lamp, or my phone camera does anyway, as it picks up the rich 'swirling' colour band, triphosphor 835 & 840 shows up as having green in it whereas halo versions are just yellow. I don't know if this works on other colours.

Using camera banding to have a nosy at the phosphor is actually a really clever idea! Never even thought about it. I've dreamed of owning an Interna, they look proper comfy. This 930 feels more like a 60W halogen than a fluorescent. Cost a few pennies but I had to have a look at one, never seen one before. The fact it's in the miniature format is a bonus but I dunno if you can get the smaller sizes in 930. You can apparently get 927 but i've yet to see one.
