Cool, mine is the cream / green combo. Still has it's resistor wire ballast for now, but these things get insanely hot, so I'm going to convert it to switch-start. You can burn yourself touching one of these when lit, not very energy efficient!

The resistor wire actually consumes more electric than the tube! The lid on mine doesn't close properly because the ballast i've put in was just to see it lit up. I need a smaller one. The green one is really nice would like one of those! Whoever last owned myone smoked more than I did! Took me all day to clean it up like it is now. Blue looked more green than blue!

Going to SRS mine IF I can get the ballast and cap in the base - we'll see....

No chance! Had to trim my 36w ballast mounting plate just to fit it in! Thing's not even screwed in just shoved in the space!
Would be nice if i'm wrong though!

I've got some very small 2004 Parmar SRS gear, it might just fit.....

Wanna see results if it works!

IF it does, I'll post it. Just have to hope!

1cm too long to get both ballast and cap in there, cover plate screw is an issue
Might look at a remote gear box....

That's a shame.
