Philips 14W T12 Fluorescent tubes
Ordered some of these from the USA as I've never seen any for sale in the UK.
I've seen them in underpass lighting in this size but that's the only time I've seen them.
Altogether it was £30 for them which works out at £5 a piece.
I do not have a ballast to run them on but the bootsales are always full of daft ≈ 15w blacklight fluorescent that I can nick gear from that are usually under £5 a piece.

These lights are 14W and only 15 inches long.
Have a CRI of 85 and a colour temp of 3000k.
They give off 700 lumens and are rated for 9000 hours.

They are difficult to find in warmer colours so when I found the a cheap lot that was warm white I had to buy them!

Can't wait to light one!

Nice tube that! I'm always put off from getting anything from the USA sadly due to very high postage prices and the risk of import duty and a handling fee being added to the cost.

They were just under the min taxable amount. Use ebay's global shipping program. Calculates all the customs and tells you on the page exactly how much it will cost. If there is tax they handle it all for you can charge you it as part of the purchase. The postage was 15 quid and so were the tubes! It's a piss take but at a fiver a piece i'm not too arsed. How often do you see these pretty little things for sale in the UK? Colour rendering is true to the name, looks just as good as my 27 tri's.

nice Mexican made tubes. these were made on other side of El paso, Texas that boarders mexico. 14 watt tubes getting be uncommon size now. as there not many 14 watt fittings around, but old Fluorescent desk lamps what
keeping them in production here in the USA. these ran off 14-20 watt chokes here. they will work fine on 15 watt chokes. also this about only lamp that ran in series on low 120 volt OCV using manual switch start.
