Red T5 with cover removed
Underneath is just a plain old Philips 830.
8's are surprisingly hard to find cheaply for these assumingly because they are used in things like emergency fittings where CRI is not critical.
I decided to take the stock 530 out of my 8W diffused fitting and put the red cover over it instead leaving me with a plain 830.
Immediately there is a massive improvement. The tube is a lot brighter the aged 530 and i'm sure when it gets dark it'll start bringing the colours in proximity of it alive more.
