100W ACTUAL Rough Service Crompton GLS lit up
Here it is in action. Now its light output is very much like a 75W gasfilled GLS bulb as apparently proper actual rough service bulbs have filaments that are longer in length as in the C shape with additional supports and slightly thicker (like 2500hr rated incandescent bulbs use) of course the main factor is the vacuum atmosphere instead of argon. This is literally the best high wattage incandescent I've used as it doesn't feel overpowering like typical 100W light output would do, perfect for when I'm using the iMac desktop for my music creativity (Logic Pro) and for using the Adobe Software suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Audition). I still use mainly my Fujitsu gaming PC and my Fujitsu laptop these days for my gaming, internet browsing, office documents, video calls

I used to have a shade of similar shape, but made of plain A4 paper over a PL-S 11W in my room. It worked well as a general room light. (I have changed it out for a Gaash 5052 since, as i needed a bright light for something, and havent bothered changing it back since as i dont use it much anyway)

There is another identical one but with an E27 CFL, still in use in another room of the house

For the computer lighting i use a 9W PL but one that's placed behind my back, at about the same height as me and the monitors. I mostly use medium/light UI themes in the OS (the color scheme of Oxygen, which is mostly #CCCCCCish grey for toolbars etc), and working in software that have either white or black background for the content
