2x 36W 2 tube fixtures!
Taken in the kitchen when I visited my cousin's friend's house

I had to take these fluorescent fixtures because not many kitchens use fluorescent lighting these days, just designer incandescent/halogen and LED (ugh) and also its 2 36W fixtures paired up to make an 8 footer! Key thing is the tube positioning design (180 degrees apart)

It's unusual to see a twin fitting in a domestic kitchen, but two? They certainly know how to light a kitchen properly. I have never enjoyed anything other than fluorescent kitchen lighting throughout my life spanning 5 decades. It's the best.

I agree

Also he is renting the house! Whoever setup the lighting in the kitchen had a practical mind because face it, nothing better than fluorescent lighting in the kitchen. The living room and dining room had the typical GU10 halogen recessed lighting (ugh) but thankfully the kitchen wasn't subject to that!!!

Nice. One of the very first things I did when I moved into my house was rip out the 6 x 50w GU10 halogens and install 3 x 6ft fluorescent fittings.

Andy! I would have done that if I was moving into my new rented house OR a house that I been given! I would use either 70W T8 or both 65W T12 and T8 70W at the same time!!!
