Interesting lamp holder arrangement, looks like it could be fairly old actually.

I agree, defo is an old style method of the way how you insert and remove the 13W tubes. So glad I had the instructions that told me to do it - the extra nice thing about getting NOS fixtures and bulbs/tubes is the documentation Cool
