As kid in the 90s i visited there for some activities and theater shows and the like. At some point, they wanted color tubes so they took the existing tubes (a mix of 40W/640 and 40W765) and wrapped them in gels of different colors (probably colored Cellophane and not proper gels though). I watched them do the wrapping of the tubes and later participated in the event itself, which i dont remember as much. In the early 00's the building became an office building. I did some work there as IT in the mid 00's, at that point the 2000's were still there but unused, and 4x18 modulars were installed in the drop ceiling tiles instead
Another place full of 2000's is one of the buildings of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Built in the late 70s or so, that building had some really interesting lighting of many types, and not only lighting. Among MH highbays in the corridors and long row of Merc floodlights on the wall in the bus stop (that was going through a tunnel through the lowest floor of the building), the auditorium was lit with similar setup of SRS 2000s in long rows. I visited there in 2006, and 2nd time in 2012 (but not in the auditorium). the tubes were virtually all 40W/640 Thorn EMI with "3 line" style etch, i think the original ones to the building
Finally, there are 2000's in the rare diffuser box version in the Nahariya hospital, built in the early to late 80s. (The lower floors from the early 80s have the original 2000's, the upper floors have the later version based on the SpeedPack)
They were very uncommon, and tend to be found only in "special" sorta places
