Very nice! Similar box design to those 9W ones I have. Also interesting to see a quad tube version, I had only seen the 20W in a tri tube version previously

Yes I like these 'cutout window' style of the spearmint green packaging as it highlights the 'wow' factor of seeing a CFL

I suppose it was to try and promote them a bit more in the shops. A much better idea than blister packs too, though in some of them you could likely fit two lamps in with the empty space!

I know what you mean plus I got some of the blister packaged version from Slyspark last month when I got the Philips Streamlite 65W fluorescent fixture - they're exactly as what you described, so oversized

Nothing beats a well designed cardboard packaging

Blister packs are a pain to store too, at least you can stack boxes nice and neatly until the lamps are used!

Tell me about it, I need to get one of these special loop hooks that stores use to hang blistered packaging and install a few onto the wall of my shed

Nice packaging sadly something you don't see these days

When they did a stellar job of making packaging with a wow factor! Now it is just meh and cheapo aesthetic
