Yamaha - Sound-Field/Surround Processor - DSP E580

A Yamaha 'Natural Sound Digital Sound Field Processor
Has multiple different "Sound-Field" selections (which are essentially echo/reverb 's). According to the manual all based on the acoustics of actual places.

Also has a standard Pro-Logic Surround mode (which you'd want when watching Movies or TV)

Interesting. I don't care for effect though, I want the sound as unmolested as possible Smile

I like the effects - sometimes - not always...there are times like you I don't want the sound modified.

I actually have this set up with an extra set of speakers, so I can have the 'normal sound' on the main system, & this as a secondary thing...or set this to pro-logic so the sound on both matches, since the main one has a pro-logic surround mode too. (or ofcourse I can simply leave this turned off too).

..oh and I didn't notice just how dusty this was until after I took, and posted the pic Laughing
