Massive 2 x 6w American Rayovac lantern
This has to be the largest 6w fluorescent battery lantern! It takes up to 2 pairs of 6v lantern batteries and is certainly bright! Has a switch to allow one or both of the tubes to be lit and another switch to allow a choice between two brightness levels.

Oooh nice find. these old Camping lanterns are pretty cool. are those batteries for them is Expensive over there?quailty of lantern batteries. ever since Eveready packec up. and Reyovac and other batteries manufacture started
getting crap batteries from china. I now use 6 volt lantern Lead acid batteries as they last as long as crappy batteries and to recharge those lead acid.

I've not bought any batteries for it yet as they are quite pricey, this is running from a jack socket that I added. And as usual most shops don't stock them. Recharchable batteries sound like a good idea though.

How would this be on a big 12v Li-ion pack?

That's a good idea, I do have a 12v Li-Ion pack I could try it on, I guess it would give a few hours.

For the size that could contain 4 6V packs, you probably could just put an 12V lead acid brick inside
