Tiny 1mm CCFL from laptop LCD display Managed to very carefully liberate this tiny lamp from it's reflector channel housing in the side of the panel frame. The lamp is about 40cm long including the plastic end caps. I've marked the little channel where the lamp normally lives with a back arrow.

I got a similar lamp out of my old flatbed scanner. They break so easily. Probably the most fragile type of lamp.
