i got this today from the scrapyard for a tenner, its 415 to 110 i am going to use it in reverse via a 230-110 transformer for running a gec 1000w 415v mercury ballast and two american h36 lamps i have the secondary is rated at 3kva=3000w=around 27A so i should get a good few amps out the primary i only need around 2.5A to run the lamp with pfc

I’m still on the lookout for a cheap pair of 3kva 110v site transformers that I can run in reverse in series to get 480v output from the 240 input. Not to run lamp gear off though... Laughing

maybe I should post my American Jefferson transformer up. it can do 120 to 480 or i can use it as 120 to 240 volt set up.

Is 480v between phases common for street lighting over there? The GE M250 I imported had that gear in and does seem a little high for the purpose.
