after seeing the post about the 400w lucalox son-e lamps i have added this. coincedentaly i had one of these in 1995 i got i when i worked in the local co-op when i was 16 it was a eol lamp cycling, it was beside the compactor awaiting disposal in the days when there was little/no recycling. i don't remember what happened to it now, but it had done the hours as ge were making son in hungary by then. there was 400w low bays in the warehouse if i recall also holophane son post tops in the car park. possibly 150w. ironically now as of about a week ago the corn lamp led have mostly failed not being more than a few years old, the remaining son version is working fine. the son is brighter than the led period. i cannot understand why you see corn lamps advertisted as retrofits for son when they are only around a quarter of the wattage!
