the ultimate light efficacy? this still applies a bit the 131w sox-e is over 200 lumens per watt. i don't think led is at that yet.

Far better lumens per watt than LED but now no longer made. The world is going backwards. Reminds me how we had Corcorde for faster air travel in the 1970s but instead of making something faster we have abandoned it and gone back to slow airliners

a bit off topic, well sort of. a 80w t5 tube is around 7000 lumens, a 125w tube is around 10000 lumens, i don't think t12 was that inefficient, but more to do with the gear losses mag vs electronic as all t5s use electronic gear

13w, 8w, 6w and 4w can run on magnetic gear.
