Osram-GEC 100v 40w Single coil lamp with War Department stamp

Another lamp that bears an interesting stamp indicating that it was probably made during WW2. I don't think this lamp would've had any type of special function, but probably just served to light some room in a building owned by the War Department! Note the 100v rating, I think national voltages were standardised shortly after the war.
