Crompton 75w clear GLS lamps

Found yesterday in a hardware shop in London, these were the only old lamps in the whole shop! As they were quite reasonably priced I decided to get 3 of them. The voltage rating and the fact these have an E27 base and wreath filament suggest they were made for some kind of specialist application, or perhaps for export. Maybe they are traffic signal lamps?
