Osram Filtalite 150w mushroom lamp This lovely lamp was recently obtained in a trawl with fellow collector Keiron - thank you very much! I have 1 or 2 150w Filtalites here and there but none had their original packaging. Etch is quite smudged but date code is "8UJ".

Thank you - 150w does seem like quite an uncommon wattage for a lot of lamps.

You'd almost have to wonder if the same effect could be achieved by simply using a lower wattage bog-standard lamp? I guess these date from an era when people were not so concerned about the price of electricity?

The highest wattage I got of the K shaped lamp is 100W - fingers crossed that I'll get some 150W ones in my collection. I'd be lucky enough to get a working FILTA_LITE regardless of wattage
