Cosmos 16CP carbon filament lamp made for the Dunlop Tire company Here is a real oddity of a lamp - branded Cosmos (which, I believe was a brand name used by the Metropolitan Vickers Co.) the lamp has an additional etch which states "Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd.", which I assume is the famous tire company. Where would this lamp have been used, I wonder?

Just so lovely to look at - carbon filament incandescent have that certain glow that tungsten cannot quite replicate Smile
