Osram Vialox 70w SON-E and SON-I lamps
A nice pair of little-used lamps found this morning in the lamp recycling bin. Both were made at the same place, at the same time! The only difference being one has an internal ignitor, one does not.

I found something interesting with the ‘Is’, once they were EOL, you could put them on ignitor gear, and get another year or so out of them!

I guess these would last longer then the Slovakian made ones esp the I version as i've heard the Slovakian SON I only last 2 year and the glow bottle in the lamp dies?
