Philips Alto 400w HPS lamps
Loads of these turned up in my local lamp bin today in varying states of use, keep in mind I live in the UK so I have no idea what all of these US-market HPS lamps were doing there! Of the older, actual USA-made variety (like the lamp on the bottom) there were only 3 intact, 2 of which seem quite heavily used (more than this one...) The top lamps were everywhere and are made in China.

Do they all have E40s?, technically if they do, their not US market lamps? Unless they were made in the US specifically for the European market?

Strange to see these over here. The modern made in China ones look to have Venture arc tubes in?
