Mazda/BTH "Mercra" 125w MB early mercury lamp A very early mercury lamp complete with original box, not a type I thought I'd find any time soon! I managed to get this for around 15 pounds, a bit more than I usually spend per lamp but considering what it is I just went for it. I hope to give this rare gem a run-up one day. I was ecstatic after buying this! Note the internal construction which I managed to take with a phone torch, I believe the arc tubes were hand blown on these lamps.

as per my comments on LG! these are some lovely finds! I look forward to seeing them being lit in due course! if you could do both at the same time that would be spectacular! Smile I really hope someday I can find a pearl GLS mercury lamp! I have been looking/wanting for well over 10 years now!

It looks always very pretty, when a frosted mv lamp is lit up.
