Found this morning in the lamp bin - I dare not clean this, because I am well aware of the risks associated with these lamps! I have no idea whether this lamp works or not, but it is an interesting addition to the collection either way.

These lamps are much buffer then most people think That also don't explode randomly... Its a bit like CRTs Yes something can happen but how likely is it??

Looks like a projector lamp. When they are cold, the risk of spontaneous explosion should be low. It's when they are hot that the risk is much higher.
