I have the one on the left, I’ve always wondered what the maximum wattage of lamp can be used in these as most E40 lamps are 300 watts or above, however they do come in handy for testing lamps.

Those are for plugging "1000W MH equivalent" LED lamps in a home pendant (once you realise that the "100W GLS equivalent" is nowhere near as bright)

i bought something like this but just a BC to ES, total crap quality, i dont know how they get away with selling them, they are dangerous, weak construction, poor quality contacts, cheap thin plastic that would not stand any heat, all in all these should be banned

BC or any kind of non-polarised cap to ES is a very bad idea

Yes, not the safest of things in the world for all the reasons above. I do have one however, I use it for testing lamps - about the only safe use for these and even then, not for long periods of time!

I'm not saying I don't own one or two. I am an electrician however so it's all good lol!
