A massive unexpected haul 25/09/21

This was, as the title suggests, unexpected and a case of "right place, right time"! I was taking a walk round the block today and went past a house which I always assumed was abandoned and overgrown. I noticed there were people clearing stuff out and a sign that some stuff that was dumped there was free. Seeing a small-ish box of bulbs, I asked whether there were any more... They told me the house was not abandoned but actually owned by a hoarder who had passed away recently and they were clearing his house out. They also told me that they had dumped a large amount of bulbs in a skip that was lying in front of there recently, which I dug through and found most of the smaller lamps in! I was then shown down the side and told "we also have these fluorescent tubes" (pointing to a massive pile) "that we don't know how to dispose of correctly". Well, I certainly helped them "get rid" of most of them! Note that there are actually quite a few gems here! Also, I was just about to leave when the guy walked out of the house holding the SOX lamp! It all felt like some kind of odd dream really...
