Coloured spiral CFL lamps spotted in service I was quite surprised to see some of these still in daily use in a festoon string under the awning of a pizzeria. They were Pro-Lite brand, sadly not the nicer models with plastic bases to match the lamp colour but the later white-based models. Still a nice sight to see though!

The nicest models of these were the first ones with the phosphor which is white when switched off but emits the appropriate colour when lit.
